Moss’ 3G rant and then some

I have to be honest and admit that I did not know who Walt Mossberg was before I became a Mac user in the fall of 2007. Shame on me. Then, with the help of Digg and all of the Apple articles that come from various Mac friendly blogs and sites, I started becoming more aware of user interface and better computing experiences. I’ve been a loyal pc user for almost 15 years and I still appreciate Windows (XP) and how building several rigs helped me understand the ins and outs of computer literacy.

With that being said, I’m just absolutely relieved that with Mossberg’s recent prediction of the 3G iPhone (see video below), he also goes on a valid and proven rant about how the communications industry in this country is in absolute shambles. Am I the only person who agrees 100% on what Walt is talking about from a consumer’s point of view? His opinions about advertising is incredible especially coming from a person who’s embedded in the mainstream via his tech column in the Wall Street Journal and his pet project All Things Digital.

His Take on how the big boys play and conduct themselves could be worrisome because he calls them out on their scams clear as day. He also gets into politics and current administrations that deal with the decision makers in our arena. This is a great clip that I hope doesn’t get taken down.

twitter, bitter, jitter

I always find myself to be the last one to get on the train.  Shit, it’s all I need.  Another killer app to keep me tweaking on my mac so I can let my vicious and rabid fans know my every move.  Or at least on what I let them in on.
