desperate measures taken by eco based terrorism

The message here is simple: “Join our side and agree with the emperor or we will kill you.” This is the perfect example of how increasingly desperate the machine has become since Climategate began in late 2009 exposing the monumental lies and data manipulation. Screenwriter Richard Curtis has pulled together Peter Crouch, Gillian Anderson, Radiohead and others into a fear based team of neo-brown shirts, spewing Lord Gore’s carbon religion.

What we need to take notice here is that this is a concentrated effort of organized parties with endless resources in order to push forth an agenda on multiple media networks. The Guardian is one such example in promoting their 10:10 campaign. In their own words, “Had a look? Well, I’m certain you’ll agree that detonating school kids, footballers and movie stars into gory pulp for ignoring their carbon footprints is attention-grabbing.”

This is just a weak attempt to justify the overt propaganda placement. Not to mention the carefully pruned comments after the article’s posting, praising the comedic genius behind the film. Monty Python is comedic genius. This is brainwashing.

Since the film’s debut and the negative reception, 10:10 had to issue the following statement:

Last week, 10:10 made available a short film. Following the initial reaction to the film we removed it from our website and issued an apology on Friday 2 October.

Subsequently there has been negative comment about the film, particularly on blogs, and concern from others working hard to build support for action on climate change. We are very sorry if this has distracted from their efforts.

We are also sorry to our corporate sponsors, delivery partners and board members, who have been implicated in this situation despite having no involvement in the film’s production or release.

We will learn from this mistake. Today I have written to supporters and stakeholders explaining that we will review processes and procedures to make sure it cannot happen again. Responsibility for this process is being taken by the 10:10 board.

The media coverage of the film was not the kind of publicity we wanted for 10:10, nor for the wider movement to reduce carbon emissions.

If people have been in touch with us personally about the film, we will be replying to individual emails over the next few days. Meanwhile our thanks go out to all those who support 10:10 and who work to combat the threat of climate change.

Here we have another fear based message from the Al Gore backed Greenpeace dubbed “Angry Kid” about the world coming to an end in the near future. Totally disregarding science, rationality and of course, the Climategate effect. I can’t help but to laugh at certain points of the video. Sorry.

The following clip was an internal corporate video which leaked online in late 2009 about how News Corp has admitted to planting suggestive global warming messages in their popular television shows. What most viewers fail to realize is that their personal beliefs are being geared towards a corporation’s political agenda through the use of pop culture icons.

And just as the entire cast and crew behind the climate change debacle continue straight down the road of absurdity and making a left on ridiculous, they bring back our favorite disappearing act and ballot producing homie, OBL. In a recent audio tape that somehow mysteriously surfaced, Bin Laden has raised concern about climate change and the flooding in Pakistan. “The number of victims caused by climate change is very big… bigger than the victims of wars.” Apparently a dude in pyjamas who’s been dead for nine years will always find a way to make the news just in time for voting season.

What a great birthday celebration this year. Being back in Miami after a mini stint in California makes it all too familiar with family, great new friends and an amazing new work place. After years of trying and a solid connection through an old friend, I’ve finally landed one of the coolest and most laid back jobs on South Beach. Top notch management and the easiest employees to get along with.  Show business has been virtually non existent for the entire year but it looks a little more promising in 2010.

Some very big things are planned for the new decade starting with the Canon 7D, a copy of Final Cut Studio and probably one of those 27″ iMac Quad Core i5′s for the main workstation. After many years of shooting silly videos and cutting my teeth into editing with endless mistakes, I’ll be making legitimate, film festival worthy short films. All by myself if I have to but what I do know is that it’s about time. The 14 months alone in California has been eye opening and extremely educational by getting lost in classic films, self exploration, learning dialogue pace and character development by watching every single episode of Alias, Lost, Heroes and Fringe on a 140″ projected screen. Plenty of gaming and countless hours of listening to original soundtracks and film composers. Honestly, I couldn’t tell you what’s on the radio.

All in all I would say that even though I’m back in South Florida, California and I have a score to settle. I look forward to moving back to my beloved City of Angles but this time with my Lisa by my side. When will that happen? I don’t know and only time will tell but maybe in three years or as soon as the entire state of California gets their shit together. Happy new year to all.

One of the most dynamic individuals has passed and the influence he left on me and throughout my early childhood will always be an unforgettable experience. His collaborations with Quincy Jones and the magic they produced during Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad was one of the main reasons why I became a musician and eventually involved in the arts. His ideology behind acting was something that I literally ran with. Just like Leonardo DiCaprio and countless other performers who never took an acting lesson, Michael Jackson simply said that he believed to “be the character” and lived his life as if it were true to him. The true King Of Pop finally lays his glove to rest.

wtf? fox news storefront?

iPhone pic

I may be somewhat late on this but I just couldn’t help but to notice this FOX News store inside Houston International at around 5:50 am. I didn’t walk inside but at a quick glance, one can notice that most if not all of the publications sold are either owned, operated or have some affiliation with News Corporation.  Click here for a list of News Corp. holdings.

last leg and 2 states to go

I feel like an ass on the fact that I forgot my login page so I can blog on our trip to California but at this point, it’s better late than never. Today, Lisa and I conquered all of Texas in one shot. Well actually, it was from the last major town in west Louisiana to New Mexico non-stop. I’ll be honest when I say that the lone star state is brutal. There was a part in west Texas where it’s nothing but solid rock planes and natural vegetation. No businesses, no corporate America, no police. Just you, the desert road in front of you and the beautiful White Apache Mountains that never seem to end. Most people break it up in 2 days but we can’t do this shit half-ass. Right now we’re staying at a La Quinta hotel in Deming, New Mexico and in the morning (aroud 5:30am) we’ll finish off the last day of traveling with the tail end of New Mexico, southern Arizona and bring it in to Rancho Cucamonga just outside of L.A.. I’ll update this post with some pretty awesome pictures that we took along the way!

I’m outta here

Almost fifteen years ago I planned this trip but the paths in life during that time did not allow me to go on. Times now are different and as I look back to reflect on my life, I can’t help but to think about those words that will forever haunt me. “Claudio, don’t let Florida make you forget who you really are. Get out to California, get out now.” All I can say is that this person is a very well known casting director but a friend non the less. Digital, you know who I’m talking about. mr. mystery guest? are you still there?

“You have me at a loss. You know my name but who are you? Just another American who saw too many movies as a child? Another orphan of a bankrupt culture who thinks he’s John Wayne? Rambo? Marshall Dillion?”

I’m on your side you clown. Put my shit back. And my myspace too. Why, because I posted an ANON video? The picture is bigger than both of us.

decent comeback but writers missed

It’s about time that late night got back to its senses but although I was happy to see Leno and O’Brien back on the tube, the absence of writers is pretty apparent. Leno went back to his roots and relied on his stand up which worked great and Conan dragged out skits just to kill some time. What I found pretty interesting was how there was more of an audience interaction as both hosts including Letterman, decided to educate the crowd and viewers at home, on how their lives were affected by the writer’s strike. Letterman on the other hand, had a higher advantage as he owns his show through Worldwide Pants Inc. and then licenses the airing rights to CBS which allowed him to only use his head writers with the blessing of the WGA. If I have to say one thing though, the beards have to go. O’Brien and Letterman grew them out in support of the strike but I hope it ends soon because then we’ll have a bunch of Gandolfs hosting late night.

a new year with good change

This new year’s eve was one of maybe three times in fifteen years that I was home for the televised countdown and what I realized was that the country and most of the world is not on its best potential. Most of the people that I know stayed home and thought about the issues that are playing out in our lives. The wars that we’re involved in, the unfair treatment of Ron Paul, the unfortunate death of Benazir Bhutto, the manipulation of media on all formats. I could go on for the next ten paragraphs but then I wouldn’t have space to point out the somewhat cool events that carried out as well. Continue reading ‘a new year with good change’

new host new outlook

Well, after almost 22 days since my last post and almost weeks of being offline, the nightmare of finding, switching and installing to a new host is finally over. The time off has given me the chance to consider a new outlook for this site as I plan cover more reviews around the many aspects in which I’m somewhat good at. On a personal note, I kind of wish the site was up during Septemeber 11 because there were many interesting stories that I wanted to comment on. One of them happened to be on the 911 truth movement and all of their hard work that they put into the cause. We Are Change is right at the forefront of great activism and they deserve your time for an open mind. Continue reading ‘new host new outlook’
